Cancellations and delays: Wintry weather impact at CLT airport

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As the Charlotte region prepares for wintry weather on Wednesday, travelers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport are feeling the impacts.

As of 3 p.m., 234 flights at Charlotte Douglas had been canceled and 126 had been delayed. 

The WCNC Charlotte Weather Impact team has been tracking the potential for a wintry mix in the Carolinas this week. 

It’s important to note, these cancellations and delays can also be reflective of bad weather in other places in addition to weather impacts in Charlotte.
