Shire of Coolgardie’s near-doubling of mining rates for 2025-26 officially shot down
The Local Government Minister has told the Shire of Coolgardie to treat its ratepayers with respect, and “not as a cash cow to get out of trouble”, after refusing to endorse a massive mining rates hike.
