Zoom outage: Video conferencing platform down globally, users receiving error message sparking WFH chaos

Popular video conferencing tool Zoom, which is used by 300 million users daily, is currently down, with the provided currently still “investigating” what has sparked the outage.

“We continue to investigate the domain name resolution issues on the zoom.us domain that is affecting multiple services,” a status report on Zoom’s website says.

This issue appears to have started at around 4:30am AEST, with Zoom unable to provide an estimated time for restoration of services.

An enormous amount of businesses use Zoom to connect employees when the work from home.
